Thap Doi at a glance
Thap Doi, also called the Twin Towers or Hung Thanh, is a pair of Cham temple towers in the middle of Quy Nhon. The national tourism authority puts them about 3 km from the city center and notes Hindu imagery. A cultural newspaper describes the site as a national monument and gives the address as 884A Tran Hung Dao, Quy Nhon ward, Gia Lai.
Do not confuse it with modern twin towers in other Vietnamese cities. This is a historic temple site. Most visitors need less than a morning, which makes it an easy stop between the beach and a meal.

Tickets, hours and the evening show
The day ticket and the evening show are two different products. Prices are for adults in 2026.
| Product | Adult price | When | Children |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day ticket | VND 30,000 (about $1.20) | Daily, 07:00 to 18:00 | Under 6 free, ages 6 to 15 half price |
| Evening show | VND 150,000 (about $6), gift included | Fridays, 19:00 to 21:00, announced for 1 May to 25 September 2026 | Under 6 free |
The day ticket details come from a tour guide. It adds free entry for war invalids and people with disabilities, and 50 percent off for ages 60 and over with proof. A second price list gives free entry for children under 1.2 m instead of an age rule, so ask at the ticket desk which rule applies to your child.
The evening show launched on 24 April 2026 and is not part of normal admission. The announced season ended on 25 September 2026. Check whether it returns before you plan a Friday evening around it.
Quy Nhon city and culture tours
Guided city tours and day trips that include the Cham towers, with live prices and availability.
What to look at
The towers are built of brick, and the site carries Hindu imagery. The photo shows a linga-yoni inside the towers. Look at the details of the brickwork and the entrances, and see the two towers from a short distance as well as from up close.
These are heritage sites. Do not climb on the brickwork, keep to the paths and keep your voice down inside. Dress modestly. Early morning or late afternoon is more comfortable than midday. In 2025 the average daily high in July reached 34.6°C at the Quy Nhon weather station.

Banh It Cham towers
Banh It is a group of Cham towers, not a pagoda. The national tourism authority describes four separate towers about 20 km outside Quy Nhon and classes them as an architecture and art monument. The towers stand on a green hill with paths leading up.
A secondary price list updated on 26 March 2026 gives an adult ticket of VND 20,000 (about $0.80) and free entry for children under 1.2 m. Shuttle arrangements, hours and parking can change, so check the current setup before you go. If you travel by scooter or car, ask where to park and whether a shuttle is required.

Duong Long towers
Duong Long is a further tower site you can add to a tower day. Official heritage text dates it to the end of the 12th and the start of the 13th century. It has three main towers, built from brick with a lot of stone, and shows both Cham and Khmer influence. Vietnam lists it as a special national monument, a decision dated 23 December 2015.
Expect either VND 15,000 (about $0.60) or VND 20,000 (about $0.80). Ask at the gate which one applies. Check opening days, hours and parking before you set out.
A simple Cham towers plan
Three ways to use the sites.
Short stop
Visit Thap Doi in town for the towers and the details inside. It fits between the beach and lunch.
Half day
Add Banh It outside the city. Confirm the shuttle, parking and hours first, and bring water and sun protection.
Tower day
Combine Thap Doi, Banh It and Duong Long. Allow for the road time between them and for different ticket rules at each site. A guided tour can handle the transport.
